Velvet for Fall Winter 2011
The velvet was popular some years, being everywhere and causing real anger … until it was worn and was forgotten. Until this year, almost all designers have used it to their collections and will be very special fabric that will give you a ravishing look thanks to to fit in plenty of clothing and accessories. Thus, the velvet is one of the major players in next season’s autumn-winter 2011/2012 and you can take in a lot of styles.
Then I give you the keys that make you go to be a trend in fashion and how they have integrated the different designers in their collections:
- Jesus del Pozo introduced him at the Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week last February, where he was included as an important part in many of his sets. Experts said his collection was a trip back in time thanks to the velvet and their designs, and is already known that the “old” is in vogue.
- Roberto Cavalli is one of the designers opted for velvet, but I must admit that this man mania took a few days after it said that “I am a better designer because I’m heterosexual.” Finally, in what refers to his collection, velvet clothing is one of the most used in shirts, pants, dresses and skirts, often combined with other tissues.
- Dolce & Gabbana dresses bet by beautiful velvet drapes, and shows the versatility of this fabric in various designs and details that casual menswear takes to put them in the female. It will certainly be a groundbreaking collection.
- Other designers like Ralph Lauren, Alexander Wang, Diesel Black Gold or Diane Von Furstenberg also fill their fall collection of velvet, and the trends in charge and, like it or not, you have to ignore them if you go to the last and succeed with all designs and collections.
